2021 FemThrive Mastermind Accomplishments

2021 Mastermind Program Highlights

Women Nonprofit Founders Virtual Mastermind

Hear what our nonprofit women founders accomplished this year in our Mastermind program!

Check out some of our mastermind member highlights below, we couldn’t be more proud of everything these 12 incredible women were able to achieve individually, internally, externally, and collectively.

Ruth Coleman female nonprofit founder

“Femthrive has given me the tools…

and structure I needed to utilize in my nonprofit, The Jonah Inheritance.” During the program Ruth was able to add new strategic board members to her team and host a fundraising campaign in May focused on major donors. Ruth cold called six people in one week and everyone said Yes! Thanks to our expert guest speaker on cold calling donors, Ruth picked up the phone and made it happen. Becky Andrews, blind woman nonprofit founder

“The Femthrive mastermind process…

along with the other amazing women in the program, helped me recognize that our nonprofit focus was now narrow and deep. The Daring Sisters new name came from what the women on our retreats have self identified as. By letting the women in our community know what our new focus is we were able to raise $1,000 from them. Thank you to the Femthrive Mastermind program for this group and resources." Check out Becky’s work here.

Double your goals!

During our mastermind program Alysia held her annual March online campaign fundraiser, with guidance and support Alysia was able to double her fundraising goal and exceeded her amount raised. She raised $9,000 with her biggest donor giving $2,500. Last year she only raised $4,000 for the same fundraiser. “I have found an event to do for our 10 year anniversary. The building of it is a learning process but hosting this two day virtual conference is going to be amazing. I don't think I would have done it if I didn't have the group cheering me on.” Follow Alysia’s nonprofit on Instagram, Mocha Girls Read.

Activate Her Girls Nonprofit

“Bre set me free…

by helping me establish different things to focus on for each day. I've gained a support network of other fellow female NGO leaders, and learned I'm not the only one juggling multiple jobs to make this possible. Helps me feel less isolated in this role.” Follow Adele’s work in sports development for girls in South Africa via her Activate Her nonprofit instagram here.

Tanya, BIPOC nonprofit female leader

“I loved everything about the program…

If you are struggling with your organization and want to grow, want to know the ins and out of running an organization, want clarity and want to see change, want step by step help with building your organization, this is the program for you!” Read about her nonprofit here. Scrub Life Cares is dedicated to improving the well-being of youth in underserved communities in Antigua through health and education.

"Being in a community with other nonprofit women leaders is encouraging, enriching, and just an all around beautiful site to see and experience. The Femthrive mastermind program was not what I expected. It definitely surpassed expectations that I had! Bre is a great moderator and facilitator to nonprofits, both new and seasoned." - Brandee Black, founder of I Push 4 Love

“The biggest challenges have been how to organize our nonprofit and how to raise money. The group has given me many useful tips and resources which we are implementing. It has also helped to prioritize challenges and how to delegate. Being part of Femthrive has helped me have a better understanding of how to organize our nonprofit, how to prioritize challenges, and see that we all face the same challenges.” - Daniela Silva Rodriguez, founder of Horticultura Terapeutica based in Peru
